Making a meaningful impact in Brazil
Brazil Fellows worked alongside members of their community on projects that made a responsible impact. At their apprenticeships, Fellows contributed to projects in sectors including:
- Education
- Environmental Conservation
- Entrepreneurship
- Social Work
THE HOMESTAY
With their host families, Fellows got to experience the super strong family ties in Brazil. Extended relatives and multiple generations often live close by and frequently come together for celebrations and events, especially delicious churrasco barbecues! Host families warmly welcomed Fellows into their homes, supported their cultural immersion, and helped them develop their Portuguese skills.
