Tilting Futures is partnering with the Reykjavík Global Forum to bring alumni voices into a global conversation on women’s leadership, pairing Tilting Futures alumni with experienced women leaders through the Generation to Generation Leadership Exchange Programme.
This fall, Tilting Futures is partnering with the Reykjavík Global Forum to make the case for investing in young women as a powerful lever for stronger, healthier communities worldwide. As part of the partnership, Tilting Futures will take the stage at the Forum in Iceland, bringing our perspective and experience developing the next generation of globally minded leaders to an international conversation on women’s leadership.
The partnership also extends across generations through Gen2Gen, which connects emerging and established women leaders to exchange perspectives, learn from one another, and strengthen leadership across generations.
This year, three Tilting Futures alumni are participating, each paired with an experienced woman leader from around the world.
For our alumni, it’s an opportunity to build on the perspectives and skills shaped through their Tilting Futures experiences while learning alongside women whose leadership has influenced communities, institutions, and movements around the world.
And the exchange goes both ways. Our alumni bring their own lived experiences, ideas, and perspectives on the challenges their generation is navigating, ensuring young people aren’t simply the subject of conversations about the future, but active participants in shaping them.
At Tilting Futures, we believe leadership is strengthened through experiences that bring people across differences, generations, and perspectives. Our partnership with the Reykjavík Global Forum brings that belief to life in two powerful ways: by bringing Tilting Futures’ perspective to the global stage and creating opportunities for our alumni to learn from, and contribute their own perspectives alongside, experienced women leaders through Gen2Gen.
We’re excited to see what Jamie, Paula, and Chloe learn and share through their exchanges, and to bring Tilting Futures’ perspective to Reykjavík this fall.

About Tilting Futures
Tilting Futures prepares young people to lead change in a complex world by developing the capacities that make connection across difference possible. Since 2010, the organization has served more than 3,000 students. Its flagship program, Take Action Lab, is an accredited, semester-length program built on an evidence-backed curriculum that develops the durable skills employers, higher education, and civic institutions increasingly recognize as foundational, including agency, self-awareness, perspective-taking, communication across difference, sense of belonging, and the orientation toward purposeful action. Alongside its direct program work, Tilting Futures’ systems change work is focused on making this kind of intentional capacity development a standard feature of how we prepare young people for adulthood, in their communities, in college, and in career. Tilting Futures is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
