Canaan Muluneuh

"Canaan recently made trips to Africa and Nicaragua, which he describes as eye-opening experiences that have lead him closer to becoming a global citizen. He loves taking risks and challenging himself, and during his trip to Africa he was able to overcome his fear of heights by bungee jumping over Victoria Falls. He is proud to be a part of Global Citizen Year, and is looking forward to the growth that he will experience while abroad. He enjoys writing rap lyrics, as well as various types of poetry and music.
