Carol Brown

Having teetered on the verge of graduation at Highland Park High School, Carol will be attending Eugene Lang College, the New School for Liberal Arts, studying psychology and creative writing. She is eagerly anticipating taking her subtle Jersey accent to Ecuador as a Global Citizen Year / Eugene Lang fellow for her freshman year in August. Currently, Carol represents Urban Word NYC as a member of its Youth Board of Directors. When not lounging in the Urban Word office or sleeping in class, she can be found pontificating about love, loss, science, and the evils of society from stages across New York and New Jersey. Her favor can easily be won with dilapidated paperbacks, good poems, teddy bears, dark chocolate, the color purple and vegan ice cream.
