David Morrison

David is passionate about travel and music. As an Eagle Scout, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid camper and hiker. He spent his junior year abroad in Germany, sponsored by the State Department, and afterward returned to his active life in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he was a lineman with the football team, captain in power lifting, president of German club, and a cellist with the orchestra. He also plays guitar, drums, and piano. David is honored to be chosen as a Global Citizen Year Fellow and looks forward to the year ahead, during which he hopes to explore his interests in social justice, community planning and civil engineering. David believes a community is "more than the sum of its parts" and that much can be accomplished together. He hopes to become well-versed in Portugese and explore photography while in Brazil, and upon return he plans to dual major in civil engineering and international relations at Lehigh University.
