Sofia Dragoti

Eleftheria-Sofia is passionate about science, photography and travelling as she believes that through them you can describe the philosophy behind life. Her curiosity early on encourages her to swim in the ocean of knowledge through music and reading but also to try to solve by her unique ways problems already existed in the society such as environmental pollution, accessibility and lack of education in new technologies. She wanted to answer these problems by the creation of several social enterprises and projects and by teaching in local community one of her biggest love; computer science. Her goals for his gap year are to follow her curiosity and passion into new discoveries, to explore Brazilian culture and traditions by being involved actively in the local community life and by that way to become a more active global citizen. She strongly believes in one of Plato's quotes: "Man: a being in search of meaning."
